This new function starts at highest speed to cut hole and then transfers to High Mode to cut initial thread. After that, load is reduced so it automatically switches to slower Soft Mode to limit the potential of stripping threads on fastener or material

Dual voltage technology offers powerful performance with either a 14.4V or 18V battery. A special dual voltage circuit detects the voltage of the attached battery pack and controls the current and voltage flows to the tool to ensure optimum performance.
